Well, 2015 is here and as it turns out my life is in for big changes. After being a sessional teacher at various universities and tertiary providers for the last 20 years or so, someone finally offered me a full time job! That someone being the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba. Yes, the same place I got my Diploma of Music so many years ago (in those days it was known as the Darling Downs Institute of Advanced Education), is having me back as a lecturer in the contemporary music department. I’ll be joining my talented friends Melissa Forbes, Bruce Woodward and Mark Sholtez in the faculty. No, I’m NOT moving to Toowoomba, but I will be spending approximately half of each week there, starting in February. I still plan to be in Brisbane probably most Thursday nights and throughout the weekends, so I hope you’ll still see me doing some gigs around the place.

In the meantime, I’ll be in, you guessed it, Toowoomba tutoring at the famous McGregor Summer School. If you are in Toowoomba, look out for the (almost) free concerts on most nights from 8th-17th of January.
